It’s vindication time.

The Greenfield Planning Board may be getting its comeuppance in the form of an appeal filed by homeowners Devlin and Ballard, abutters to the newly approved accessory dwelling which will negatively impact their property, a fact the Planning Board did not see fit to consider when giving the go-ahead on this controversial project.

Our own personal issues with the Planning Board and Planning Department in a case against Kris Warner, of McHard Acres, only supports our contention that the Planning Board and Planning Department are favoring developers over taxpaying homeowners. It must be stopped.

It’s time someone delves deeply into the shady dealings of the very bodies purportedly created to protect those it is deceiving. In spite of the mayor’s contention that these bodies are simply doing their jobs, I posit that they are colluding to deprive homeowners of their rights and are siding with developers even when harmful to abutters. I am appalled that this is happening, unchecked, and I plead with our town’s administration to look into these cases to determine if the actions of the Planning Board and Planning Department are equally and fairly considering all sides of a project.
