Let’s put an end to the forums and/or any other form of controversy regarding the “LOGO” (not Mascot) of Turners Falls High School! I don’t see that these forums will result in any solution whatsoever, especially since “outsiders” are being allowed to speak and voice their opinions “Pro and Con.” This is a matter that belongs to the people of the Town of Montague.
It appears that there are more people interested in voicing their views than there is time allowed for them to speak. There have only been two forums for people to speak; but there are now four “programs” scheduled for “outsiders” scheduled to speak about anything and everything but the real issue! Why? Talk about “lopsidedness.” Are these knowledgeable speakers being paid? If so, by whom?
Why not put it to rest once and for all by letting taxpayers of the Town of Montague vote on this very sensitive issue?
