GREENFIELD — Whitney Hill Antiques has completed its move further up Main Street to the former Home Furnishing Co. building.
The move, owners say, came with a little help from their friends and family over the Halloween weekend.
The larger space has 15,000 square feet over three floors, now filled with collectibles, antiques and furniture supplied by more than 100 vendors and consignors. Dale Whitney and her partner, Jim Van Valkenburgh, own the business but rent the building from some of her vendors, who are the building owners.
With an eclectic, ever-changing stock from jewelry to toys to tools to furniture there is something for every one. Whitney was busy on Tuesday arranging spaces and implementing a new coding system to track inventory. The space is filling up fast but still has room for a few more dealers on the third floor.
The owners plan a grand opening in coming weeks.
