GREENFIELD — Residents, government officials and other community leaders are invited to attend Greening Greenfield’s fourth bi-annual community forum, Nov. 19 at Greenfield Community College.
The forum will focus on exploring innovating solutions to the community’s food and public transportation needs. The daylong event includes an open discussion with state Rep. Paul Mark and leaders from the Franklin Regional Council of Governments; Community Action; Leyden Woods; and the Franklin Transit Authority, as well as five afternoon working groups.
Keynote speakers are Matt George, founder and CEO of BRIDJ, the world’s first pop-up mass transit system, and Leanne Brown, author of “Good & Cheap,” who’s committed to empowering people living on tight budgets by offering recipes for good food using affordable local produce.
