GREENFIELD — The Franklin County Diaper Task Force is still looking to collect enough diapers and money to meet increased demand among its clients this year.

The Task Force will be the beneficiary of Hope & Olive’s Monday Soup and Game night from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The event offers a free buffet of soups and breads while patrons sit down with friends to play games or chat. The goal is to bring support to under-funded community organizations, and bring people together for a fun night out.

Judith Weinthaler, the Task Force’s director, said the group has set a goal of distributing 4,000 diapers to needy families each month, and is trying to raise about $6,000 to purchase the sizes they need most — size 4 through 6.

For those who don’t attend the game night, diapers can also be donated online at www.communityaction.us on the Ways To Give page, or at Foster’s Supermarket, the Family Center on Federal Street, the Orange Food Pantry or Montague Catholic Social Ministries in Turners Falls.

Checks can be sent to Community Action at 393 Main St.
