On Saturday, Oct. 29, Bill Staines will return to the St. James Coffeehouse at 8 Church St. in Greenfield.
Staines has been traveling the country for more than 40 years, bringing his music to venues from Massachusetts to Alaska — and every state in between.
He has recorded 26 albums, and his music has been recorded by many other artists, including Peter, Paul, and Mary, Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy, The Highwaymen, Mason Williams, Grandpa Jones, Jerry Jeff Walker, Nanci Griffith, Glen Yarborough and others.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. Jennie McAvoy will be the opening performer. She will begin at 7:15 and Staines will begin at 8.
Tickets are $16 in advance and $18 at the door for adults, and $8 in advance and $9 at the door for children ages 5 to 12.
