GREENFIELD — Greenfield residents on Saturday will have a chance to meet the people who work to keep them safe each day at the annual Health and Safety Fair.
The fair, being held in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, starts at 9 a.m. at the Greenfield Fire Station on Main Street.
A variety of local health and emergency services groups will host informational booths or tables, including the town Police and Fire Departments, the regional Opioid Task Force, the Community Health Center of Franklin County, Safe Streets Safe Schools, MedCare Ambulance, the Sheriff’s Office, Community 911 and others.
Bear Country 95.3 will hand out free smoke detectors and batteries, while the Greenfield Health Department will offer free flu vaccinations.
Demonstrations will include K-9 dog work at 9:30 a.m., Jaws of Life demonstrations at 10 and fire extinguisher training at 11.
There will also be raffles.
Free parking will be offered in the lot between the Fire Station and the post office.
