SHELBURNE FALLS — If you need a reason to come to Shelburne Falls for a final summery walk over the Bridge of Flowers, here’s one: A Shelburne Falls Art Walk takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with special exhibits and programs throughout the village.

Visitors can pick up a self-guided Art Walk map at the Village Information Center at 75 Bridge St. Here are some highlights:

The Shelburne Senior Center at 7 Main St. features a 5-foot tall mosaic covered by mosaic designs by 17 local seniors. Additionally, work and sales by local artists will be there also, along with refreshments.

“Anything Goes” in a group show of local artists at the Shelburne Arts Cooperative on Bridge St. Scratchboard drawings of birds by Karen Gaudette are on view at Molly Cantor Pottery, where visitors can also try their hands at scratchboard drawing.

Ashfield painter Q Li Holmes is featured at the Salmon Falls Gallery, 1 Ashfield St., as she explores the theme “Bird & Circles,” pairing down the idea to its simplest Zen form. She gives a talk at 4 p.m., with a reception that continues to 6:30 p.m.

The Lamson Factory Outlet offers an Art Walk discount on cutlery and kitchen tools, while Shelburne Falls Booksellers features fine used and antiquarian books.

The day ends at The Art Garden, 14 Depot St., with art and conversation, from 6 to 8 p.m. Write, draw or collage on a temporary, interactive mural.
