NORTHFIELD — Northfield resident Ted Thornton will give a presentation titled “From Istanbul to Cappadocia” Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Senior Center.
Thornton, a retired school teacher, will discuss his travels and the history, people and culture of the lands he visited.
Lunch will be provided, though Council on Aging Director Heather Tower asks that attendees register for lunch by today. A $2.50 donation for lunch is requested.
NORTHFIELD — Susan Ross of the Northfield Historical Commission will give a presentation about Northfield’s historic monuments Friday at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center.
Council on Aging Director Heather Tower said the presentation is part of the “This is Your Town” breakfast series.
Casseroles, breads, tea and coffee will be provided. A $2.50 donation for breakfast is requested.
