SHELBURNE — With its 2017 allocation of $4,400 from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Shelburne Cultural Council is seeking  to fund cultural, artistic, and educational projects with broad community appeal and venues in Shelburne and Shelburne Falls.

It  places a priority on collaboration and a strong marketing strategy, and invites first-time applicants and original concepts.

Statement of support from hosting organization and/or venue must be included. This year, there is an online application procedure. The guidelines, Shelburne priorities, and the online application can be accessed at: www.masscutluralcouncil.org/Shelburne.

Deadline for submission is Oct. 17. This year, the council will only consider applications submitted through MCC’s online portal.
