Lisa Sikop tallied 10 kills and 2 aces to help Easthampton High School rally for a 16-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-8 victory over Mahar Regional School in independent girls’ volleyball action Wednesday at the Woodward Complex in Orange.

Autumn Pinard collected 12 assists, 5 aces and 5 digs for the Eagles, while Sami Sypek added 12 digs and 2 aces, and Sierra Easkevitz had 3 kills, 11 digs and an ace.

Aria Flematti led the Senators with 27 assists and 7 aces. Maeve Powell chipped in with 6 kills and 4 blocks, Lauren Henne had 9 digs and 2 aces, and Quincey Drew contributed 5 digs.

Chicopee 3, Turners 1 — Sienna Dillensneider finished with 10 assists, five aces and 17 digs but Turners Falls High School suffered a 25-21, 16-25, 26-24, 25-17 loss to Chicopee High School in an independent girls’ volleyball match Wednesday in Turners Falls.

Abby Loynd had four aces, three kills and 23 digs in the loss. Emma Miner finished with six kills, 10 digs, four assists and two aces, and Jordyn Fiske had nine digs, five kills and four aces.

Turners Falls (1-2) heads to Lenox Memorial High School Friday at 5:30.

Belchertown 3, Athol 1 — Cara McKenzie registered 12 kills and 2 aces to lead Belchertown High School to a 14-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21 independent girls’ volleyball victory over Athol High School Wednesday at Mallet Gymnasium in Athol.

Sarah Woodford chipped in 4 aces for the Orioles.

Hope Parker registered 13 kills, 4 digs and 2 aces for the Red Raiders. Julia Ramos had 5 kills and 14 assists, Jess Soucie added 4 kills and 3 aces, and Abby Leadbetter finished with 9 digs.

Athol hosts Easthampton High School Friday at 5 p.m.

Sabis 3, Greenfield 0 — Julia Guilbert recorded 9 kills Mykaela Debirto dished out 14 assists to lead Sabis International Charter School over Greenfield High School, 25-17, 25-20, 25-15, in an independent girls’ volleyball match Wednesday at Nichols Gymnasium in Greenfiold.

Hannah Brooks added 14 aces and 4 kills, and Markina Ako-Brew recorded 13 digs for the Bulldogs.

Amy Muniz collected 12 assists for the Green Wave, while Molley Duclos had 4 kills and 4 aces. Emily Maloney tallied 3 aces, 2 kills and 4 digs, and Mackenzie Morey chipped in 6 aces and 2 kills.

S. Hadley 3, Mohawk 0 — Kiana Turner recorded 9 aces and 6 kills to help South Hadley High School beat Mohawk Trail Regional High School, 25-19, 25-21, 25-16, in independent girls’ volleyball play Wednesday in Buckland.

Morgan Adams added 6 assists for the Tigers.

Lexi Mazza finished with 5 kills and 2 aces, Mackenzie Mayhew had 2 kills, 5 digs and 4 aces, and Olivia Dubrule contributed 4 kills, 2 assists and 3 aces for the Warriors.

Mohawk travels to Chicopee High School Friday at 5 p.m.

Holyoke 3, FC Tech 0 — Summer Gaudreau had six digs and one assist Wednesday but Franklin County Technical School suffered a 25-13, 25-6, 25-10 loss to Holyoke High School in an independent girls’ volleyball match in Holyoke.

Jocelyn Holloway added one kill, one block and two digs in the loss.

Golf

Turners Falls 9, St. Mary’s 8 – Tyler Noyes earned 3½ points in the final match and Turners Falls High School won the tiebreaker to defeat St. Mary’s Parish School, 9-8, in an independent golf match Wednesday at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield.

(If a match is tied after the conclusion of play, the four best medal scores are added up; the team with the lower score is awarded an additional point and is declared the winner of the match. Turners won the tiebreaker, 220-238.)

Patrick Salls added 3 points for the Indians (1-3)

Luke Willenborg was match medalist with a 42 and swept 4 pouits for the Saints (1-3).
