Teresa Varner shot a 81 to win the A Division low gross of the “Four Clubs and a Putter Tournament” during the Tuesday Morning Ladies League at the Country Club of Greenfield.
Phyllis Canon won low net with a 76.
Ann Lyman won low gross in the B Division with a 102. Maureen Barclay won low net with a 77.
Erving League
Dennis Fournier and Doug Farrick shot a 38 to win low gross during the Erving League at the Northfield Golf Club Tuesday.
Bert Dubay and Frank Penny won low net with a 29 and a match of cards.
Rodney Ebbighausen was the match medalist with a 40. Bob Wanczyk was closest to the pin on No. 6 at 2 feet, 3 inches. Alec Duda was closest on No. 7 at 29-9.
Doubles tourney
Registrations are being taken for the Greenfield Doubles Tennis Tournament, which takes place Monday through Sept. 21 at the Beacon Field Clay Courts.
Players sign up individually for the tournament and partners will be drawn from a hat. All matches start at 5:30 p.m. and are best-of-three sets. Fee is $5 plus a can of unopened tennis balls.
