Julia Krochmalney finished second with a 46.

Elaine Goodhind won low net with a 34 and Liz Dolby came in second with a 41.

Deb Putnam won the B Division with a 48. Robin Earle was second with a 57.

Carla Bernier won low net with a 32. Therese Romano was second with a 42.

Linda Lively was closest on No. 3 at 5 feet, 9 inches. Boyce was closest on No. 9 at 5-6.

Elks League

Ed Reagey and Jim Jason will take the Elks Golf League lead into the final week of play.

Reagey and Jason led the league with 50 points after Wednesday at the Country Club of Greenfield.

Dick Golosh and Sharon Rawson are nipping at their heels in second place with 49 points. Tom McDonald and Bill Luippold are third with 48 points.

Dave McDonald was closest to the pin on No. 5 at 5 feet, 3 inches.

Edge Hill Ladies

Robin Hartnett shot a 42 to win the A Division of the “Three Clubs and a Putter” Tournament during the Edge Hill Golf Course Ladies League Wednesday in Ashfield.

Hartnett was also closest to the pin on No. 10 at 13-6. Robin Clark won the B Division with a 53.

KOC League

Alan Savinski finished at plus-16 to win the point quota for the second half of the season during the Knights of Columbus Golf League at Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club Wednesday in Turners Falls.

Steve Vinelli was second at plus-10. Steve Russo and Drew Powell tied for third at plus-7.

Dave Dion won the weekly point quota at plus-7. Chet Czernich was second at plus-6.

Thomas Ladies

Chante Jillson and Dorothy Adams tied Marilyn Kostanski and Jeanette Lawrence for first place with a 39 during the Thomas Memorial Ladies League Wednesday in Turners Falls.

Jane Smith and Jenn Murphy finished third with a 40. Kostanski was closest to the pin on No. 7 at 15 feet. Karren Sacco was closest to the line on No. 6.

Holy Family Parish tourney

The Holy Family Parish Council of the Knights of Columbus is hosting its inaugural charity golf tournament on Sept. 25 at Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Amherst.

Montague Youth programs

The Montague Parks & Recreation Department is taking registrations for its Youth Soccer Programs. Coaches are also needed for all levels.

• Start Smart Squirts — Open to children in grades K through 2 and held Saturday mornings from 10 to 11 from Sept. 10 until Oct. 22. Cost is $30 for Montague residents, and $35 for nonresidents.

• Junior Travel Team — Open to children in grades 3 and 4 and held Saturday mornings as part of the Tri-County Youth Soccer League. Cost is $45 for Montague residents, and $50 for non-residents. Practices begin in early September.

• Senior Travel Team — Open to children in grades 5 and 6 and held Saturday mornings as part of the Tri-County Youth Soccer League. Cost is $50 for Montague residents, and $55 for nonresidents. Practices begin in early September.

Montague fall lessons

Montague Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for its fall tennis program.

The program is available for children ages 7 and up, and is held on Saturday mornings from Sept. 10 through Oct. 15 at the Turners Falls High School courts. Group lessons are 45 minutes in duration.

Fees are $50 for Montague residents and $55 for nonresidents.
