1:37 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported at Shelburne Road at the Mohawk Trail, where the caller says there is at least six people pan-handling, laying on the sidewalk, and in the roadway in this area; they appear dirty and acting odd, and one appears to be passed out; officer requested they be identified; field interrogation done.
3:49 a.m. — Report at Green Fields Market on Main Street, where a caller says there are some missing or stolen medications; officer investigating.
6:50 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Woodard Road, where a person has been given Miranda rights, and summons issued for three different people, one passenger for possessing a Class A drug, one for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, and the third for allowing an improper operation of the motor vehicle. Two from Greenfield, and one from Colrain.
7:07 p.m. — Threat being made on Summer Street, where the son is making threats to get physical and to take all his mother’s belongings while she is away from the house; he has been drinking tonight and she questions drug use; officers responded, and found a verbal argument between mother and son; the son has severe intoxication problems, but officers were able to speak with the son and calmed him down; he argued he needs help to sober up, and with mental issues; he was taken to Detox on Federal Street for assistance.
8:43 p.m. — Disturbance reported on Federal Street at Bank of America parking lot, where the reporting person says he observed several people arguing at this location and there was some pushing and shoving among the people; all left in vehicles, one a green Toyota Prius, and it was last seen on Davis Street; officer notified.
1:42 p.m. — Reporting person calling from Bridge Street in Millers Falls section, says that a tractor trailer unit, that was trying to navigate the turn at Bridge and Church streets cut the corner too close and did damage to her property, and possibly also to a fire hydrant; officer responded and found the tractor trailer unit was gone, but observed the damage to the reporting person’s property, and to a town tree, which was badly damaged; the officer requested a call to the DPW to inspect the tree to determine if it will be a hazard; the tractor trailer unit, was located at Hillside Plastics, and is insured.
5:08 p.m. — Caller from Poplar Street would like to speak with an officer about drones that are flying over his home; officer sent, and services rendered.
11:40a.m. — Caller from Chase Street reports a cat is on the property with a mouth injury; the caller says they left a message with the ACO, and hasn’t heard back; dispatch contacted the ACO, and will be responding.
1:53 p.m. — Shelburne Control advised they got a call about a horse, a llama, and a pig, on Warwick Road; on officer’s arrival, the owner had control of the animals, and had them removed from the roadway.
2:15 p.m. — Control reports a dead pigeon in the future pocket park on East Main Street; they have notified the highway department for removal.
3:56 p.m. — Control advised that on West River Street a retaining wall has been damaged and collapsed; they believe it could create a hazard in the roadway; the Highway Department was contacted and responded; they coned off the sidewalk and said it isn’t creating a road hazard at this time.
3:57 p.m. — Caller from Warwick Road reports four lambs lost; they were found while en route to assist Warwick Police hours later; the owners were advised.
7:20 p.m. — Warwick Police requesting assistance following a report of three males smashing out the windows to a car; both units responded, and services rendered.
9:15 p.m. — Loud noise disturbance on East River Street, where the tenants in the apartment above them are being loud; offices spoke with the tenant that is creating the disturbance, and they agreed to quiet down.
10:10 p.m. — Control reports the fire department is responding to an Adams Street location for an investigation; no violation found, and fire department is all set.
10:25 p.m. — Caller from Adams Street requesting an officer in regards to harassment by a neighbor; on arrival the reporting person stated that the fire department just left his home, after the neighbor complained about an outdoor fire; the reporting person stated all he was doing was cooking hamburgers; the reporting person states that this has been an ongoing issue; she (the neighbor) has contacted the building inspector, board of health, police and fire, on multiple occasions; after being advised of options, he will seek a 258E order in the a.m.
1:46 a.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Armory Street, where the reporting person says a male just tried to steal her neighbor’s bicycle, but the reporting person confronted the man; he was described at a white male, close cut blonde hair wearing long khaki pants, no shirt, and spoke with a stutter and sounded confused; the reporting person says the male apologized, saying that he, “doesn’t usually steal bikes;” the reporting person states her bicycle was taken yesterday from this location; officer responded, but the male was gone.
1:10 a.m. — Loud noise disturbance reported from Unity Park on First Street, where the caller was complaining about people playing basketball at the courts, and being loud; officer responded and the people were moved along.
1:07 a.m. — Caller from area of Second Street and Avenue A reports his work vehicle was entered while parked on Second Street and believes items may be missing; officer responded, and spoke to the reporting person; the belongings in the truck were rifled through, but nothing appears missing.
12:40 a.m. — Mass DOT was contacted for a large deceased beaver in the middle of the travel lane.
4:40 a.m. — Control states the reporting person is on the phone and inquiring about who is working for Orange EMS this morning; she stated her toe was turning purple, on East Main Street but didn’t request any response from police or EMS.
