I want to start off by saying I’m not a Democrat or Republican. I’m just an American who is fed up with people, most of who have never handled a weapon of any sort whatsoever, who keep crying about gun control.
Turn on your TV. What do you find? Shows promoting gun violence.
Go to the movies. What do you find? Movies promoting gun violence.
Check out any video games lately. Games promoting gun violence.
How about promoting gun education in our schools? Guns are just tools. All tools can be misused, if you are not properly trained how to use them. Just because you can buy a hammer, doesn’t mean you know how to use one. Stop blaming the tool.
And, the only weapons that can be considered an “assault weapon” is a class 3, fully automatic weapon (a term coined by Hitler). And yes, they are heavily regulated but still legal to own, if properly licensed.
Please consider gun education as the answer, not gun control.
