Bernardston

The Powers Institute Museum, second floor, will be open Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Attendants will be Ingrid Skiff and Helen Staiger. On display will be custom-made doll furniture, china dolls and a doll carriage from the 1800s and doll tea sets. Two Bernardston sisters donated the majority of items when they became adults. Their father owned and operated the local grist mill. The museum has an elevator, and admission is free.

Bernardston Farmers Market: Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the United Church parking lot. Through Oct. 1. Stone Soup Cafe: meal at All Souls Church, Greenfield, on Saturdays at noon this is the only community meal on the weekend in Franklin County. Those who can afford to make a donation may do so while others who cannot are never discriminated against or turned away. Food includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
