Teddy Bear Pools scored four times in the seventh inning to snap a 2-2 tie and beat Sampson Chapels, 6-2, in a Tri-County League men’s amateur baseball game Monday night at Blunt Park in Springfield.
The last-inning rally started when Brad Bean was hit by a pitch. Liam Datres de la Blotier and Malooly Thomas followed with back-to-back singles to load the bases. Then Seth Leslie walked to force in the go-ahead run, Andrew Sadowski was hit by a pitch to force in the second run of the frame, which signaled the end of the night for starting and losing pitcher Tom Weldon.
Sam Downes came up next and hit a sacrifice fly to plate Malooly, and Leslie scored on an overthrow to third. Tim Capuano walked to reload the bases, but consecutive flyouts got Sampson out of it.
Sampson scored twice in the second inning to grab a brief lead, but Teddy Bear tied it in the top of third when Leslie drew a bases-loaded walk and Sadowski singled in a run.
Each team finished with four hits.
Gabe Seaver struck out seven and walked three in six innings to earn the mound win.
Teddy Bear finished the regular season 11-8-1 and will be the fourth seed in the upcoming playoffs.
Turners 12U wins
David Carey fired a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and added two triples and three RBIs to power Turners Falls past Holyoke Gas & Electric in four innings, 12-0, during the 12-and-under division of the Green Monster Tournament Monday at Mini-Fenway in Belchertown.
Dalton Henderson collected a double, triple and three RBIs, James Robison had a double, triple and two RBIs, Corbin Leh notched a single, double and two RBIs, and Gavin Rubio, Levin Prondecki and Hugh Cyhowski singled for Turners.
Turners faces the West Side Warriors Thursday night at 6.
Greenfield 10U wins
Jake Petrin smacked three hits, including a double, and knocked in a run to help Greenfield get past Westfield, 7-5, in the 10-and-uuder division of the Easthampton Little League Tournament Monday evening at Nonotuck Park in Easthampton.
Dylan Archer collected two hits and two RBIs, George Mercorelli, Ryan Pulazari and Kendra Campbell all finished with two hits, Brodie Gagne singled and drove in two runs, and Bryce Avery chipped in with a single and an RBI.
Avery registered the mound win in relief of Petrin.
Montague Co-Rec
Jenna Carme went 4-for-4 with a doubles to lead Kustom Auto Body to a 21-11 win over St. Stanislaus Society in a Montague Co-Rec Softball League slo-pitch game Monday night at Montague Center Field.
Kristin Ouellette also went 4-for-4 and Caleb Parker added three hits, including a homer, for Kustom Auto.
Marshall Sisson led Stan’s with three hits, including a double.

Garrett Hasanbasic fired an even-par 144 over the weekend to claim the Men’s Club Championship at Northfield Golf Course.
John Adams claimed low net in A Division with a 145.
John Hodgman and Trevor Blake each carded a 164 to tie for low gross in the B Division, while low net went to Bob Perlman at 136.
Thomases championship
Brandon Lenois carded a two-day, 36-hole total of 9-over-par 149 to capture the 2016 Men’s Club Championship over the weekend at Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club in Turners Falls.
It was the first men’s club championship for Lenois, 21, who is a past Junior Club Champion at the club.
Ken Adams finished as the runner-up with a 152.
Charlie Peters was the A Division winner with a net score of 130, followed by Brian Wasielewski at 134.
Jane Smith won the Women’s Club Championship with a net 151.
Mark K Memorial
Andy Chartier, Brian Watrous, George Platek and Don Healy combined for a 56 to take low net in the Mark K Memorial Mixed Golf League on Monday at Oak Ridge Golf Club in Gill.
Fred Llewelyn, John Davis, Norm Cousino and Diane Slauenwhite finished second with a 60.
EDGE tournament
The 10th Annual Edge Basketball Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 17 at Northfield Golf Course.
