Nelson T. Bushaw, 66, of West Charlston, Vt. Charge of operating under the influence of liquor, on a case dated 10/29/2000, in Shelburne by state police, was not prosecuted, as according to a written statement from a counsel in the district attorney’s office, (it is) due to the age of the case and the evidence available to the commonwealth. Pleaded guilty to negligent operation of a motor vehicle, fined $200, plus $125 head injury assessment. Pleaded guilty to assault and battery on a police officer, sentenced to time held in the house of correction. Charge of resisting arrest, dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Charge of disorderly conduct, was not prosecuted, as according to a written statement from a counsel in the district attorney’s office, (it is) in the interest of justice.

Roberto A. Rios, 35, of Holyoke. Pleaded guilty to assault on a family/household member, in Sunderland, placed on probation until 6/13/17, with victim witness assessment of $50, and must take and complete a certified batterer’s program and pay the fee, and must have no abuse of the (named) victim. Charge of intimidating a witness, a juror, police or court official, dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Must pay $150 legal counsel fee. Must pay $65 per month probation supervision fee. unless paying on another case.

Gregory Golinski, Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor, and sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 6/13/17 with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus $250 head injury assessment, OUI fee of $250, OUI victim’s assessment of $50, and victim witness fee of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $707.76. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation. Must pay $65 per month probation supervision fee.

Dustin J. Parzyck, 19, of Easthampton. Charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a fire extinguisher, and wanton destruction of property under $250, were not prosecuted, as according to a written statement from a counsel in the district attorney’s office, after conducting further investigation, including speaking to the alleged victims and witnesses to the events underlying the charge against the defendant, the commonwealth has determined that the evidence it could present isn’t sufficient to meet its burden of proof. The legal counsel fee of $150 has been paid.
