Kate Brody slapped a single and collected three RBIs to help Descavich Plumbing beat the Montague Diamond Dusters, 13-10, in a Greenfield Girls’ Softball League Ponytail Division game Tuesday night at Murphy Park.
Kaydence Ryznic and winning pitcher Lauren Ross each added a single for Descavich.
Emily Young had two hits and Kelsey Richardson and Lilly Spera doubled for the Diamond Dusters.
• In a Little Nipper Division game, Audrianna Bassett and Sami Burgeois both went 3-for-3 and Maddie Ryan had two hits to help Harper’s Store defeat Gilmore & Farrell Insurance, 7-4.
Tayler Bergeron went 4-for-4 and Caylin Hawkins was 3- for-4 for Gilmore & Farrell.
• Elsewhere, Shelby Oleary and Addison Rotkiewicz each had three hits as Freedom Credit Union bested Lundgren Honda, 11-0.
Olivia Bassett added two hits in the win.
Eva Ferreira had three hits in the loss.
• On Monday, Shylan Luippold drove in the game-winning run to lead Lundgren Honda to a 2-1 win over the Purple Panthers.
Eva Ferreira went 3-for-3 in the win, Katharine Tulley, Sage Tinney and Amber Kowal each had two hits, and Tulley scored both runs.
Kailey Putnam had three hits to the Panthers, and Emmalynn Nash and Vera Cooper each had a pair of hits.

Taylor Ruder had two hits and two RBIs and also struck out nine to earn the win as the Northfield Cougars beat the Hinsdale Fillies, 8-7, in a Tri-County League softball game Tuesday at Pioneer.
Kensey Gibson had two hits and one RBI in the win, and Kathie Fuller had a hit.
Emily Carbonell pitched well in the loss and also had an RBI single, and Brianna Camara played well defensively.
• Meanwhile, Juliva Kovalsick struck out 14 and also singled to lead the Northfield Orange Tigers to a 12-11 win over Erving at Zilinski Field in Erving.
Sofia Walker smacked a three-run double in the win, and Olivia Hammond, Sarah LaRocque and Abby Hudson each had a hit.
Riley Carroll belted a pair of home runs for Erving and drove in four runs. She was also the losing pitcher with five strikeouts. Hailey Haughey doubled and drove in a run, and Laura Kahler singled and drove in a run.
Greenfield Minor League
Kendra Campbell and Henry Stephenson-Ryan had two hits apiece to lead Aubuchon Hardware over Freedom Credit Union, 13-1, in a 4½-inning Greenfield Minor League AAA Division youth baseball game Tuesday evening at Lunt Field.
David Knox, Kaden Van Valkenburgh and Breanne Daehne all singled for Aubuchon’s.
Ben Dodge tripled for FCU.
Jake Puchaski struck out six in two innings of relief and went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Gage-Wiley & Co. over Hadley Liquors 44, 7-4, in a Fronjtier Cal Ripken Minor Division youthy baseball game Tuesday in Hadley.
Dan Fellows earned the win, while Aiden Dredge recorded the save.
CC of G Tuesday Ladies
Teresa Varner scored 40 points to win the First Division of the Tuesday Morning 18-hole Ladies League at the Country Club of Greenfield.
The league held a Stableford Points Net Tournament Tuesday. Phyllis Canon came in second with 36 points.
Irene McDonald won the second division with 51 points, and Irene Woods took second with 48 points.
Edge Hill Men’s
Mark Eaton won low gross with a 37, low net with a 34 and the point quota at plus-6 in the A Division of the Edge Hill Golf Course Men’s League Tuesday in Ashfield.
Matt Vandale was closest to the pin on No. 8 at 17 feet, 6 inches.
Mike Earl won low gross with a 40 and the point quota at plus-10 in the B Division. Charlie Plesner won low net with a 30, and Skip Heddens was closest to the pin on No. 8 at 23-10.
Matt’s Men’s League
Matt Betsold shot a 39 to win low gross during the Matt’s Men’s League at Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club in Turners Falls on Tuesday.
Jim Whitney captured low net with a 31. Rick Kimball was closest to the pin on No. 7 at 8-11, and John Passiglia was closest on No. 9 at 18-2.
Three teams — Wendell Barton and Whitney, Wayne DeGrenier and Andy Wyngowski, and Matt Letourneau and Jeff Bryant — won the most points on the week with five.
Erving League
Jack Letourneau and Peter McAndrew shot a 41 to win low gross in the Erving League Tuesday at Northfield Golf Club.
Peter Blake and Ken Dixon won low net with a 32. Peter Blake was closest on No. 6 at 18-3, and Dennis Fournier was closest on No. 7 at 20-6. Letourneau was the match medalist with a 41, and Matt Deane was second with a 42.
Greenfield League
Ainslee Penfield went 4-for-6 with a double and triple to lead RG Penfield & Sons to a six-inning, 25-6 win over Riff’s North in a Greenfield Co-Rec Softball League game Tuesday night at at Hillside Park.
Holly Stumpo added four hits and Jeremy Benz chipped in three hits, including a homer, for RG Penfield.
Alex Muscari went 3-for-3 and Morghan Orrell added two hits for Riff’s North.
County Youth signups
