SHELBURNE FALLS — The first Shelburne Falls Art Walk of the season is today, from 2 to about 6 p.m. This is a chance to visit the village and meet artists in many of its galleries and restaurants.
Highlights this Saturday include:
“Interludes,” a collection of new fiber artwork by artist Cheryl Rezendes of Bernardston. Meet the artist and see her exhibit at the Salmon Falls Gallery, 1 Ashfield St. The reception is 4 to 6 p.m., with music by harpist Rosemary Caine.
Lilian R. Jackman’s art features images formed from letterpress script and ornaments, a folk art form from Central America, now showing at McCusker’s Market, 3 State St.
Ann Brauer’s Quilt Studio, 2 Conway St., features “New Quilts for a New Studio.”
Lamson Factory Outlet, 45 Conway St., features discounts on Art Walk Day.
Ardath Garfield of Ashfield’s whimsical watercolors are on display at The Art Garden, 14 Depot St. Meet the artist 2 to 6 p.m.
Reception featuring painter Mary Fields of Northfield and Vermont potter Jenifer Morier at Molly Cantor Pottery, 20 Bridge St.
Shelburne Arts Cooperative, 26 Bridge St., features oils, watercolors and photographs by Candace Silver.
Wandering Moon, 59 Bridge St., shows work by at least 30 American and Canadian craftspersons and jewelers, including jewelry by Laura Roberson of Rowe.
