SHELBURNE — Diggity Dogs Service Dogs invites members of the community to an Open House event to celebrate Valley Gives on Tuesday at their Training Center at 679 Mohawk Trail, Shelburne.

Puppies and children will enjoy animated readings of two books about service dogs, “Raising a Hero,” by Laura Numeroff and “My Buddy,” by Audrey Osofsky, during the children’s story time from 4 to 5 p.m. (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)

An Open House for the entire community will be held at 6:30 p.m. Meet the Diggity Dogs team and service dogs in training, as well as play with puppies, watch service dog demonstrations, learn about dog training and watch puppies play musical chair. Refreshments will be served and all ages are welcome.
