I am voting for Trevor McDaniel for Deerfield Selectman on May 2, and I urge you to vote for him, too.

Trevor has character, skills and experience. He is truly a helpful, thoughtful and friendly person, and a good listener who really cares about our town. He currently serves on the Deerfield Elementary School committee and is a board member of the Collaborative for Education Services of Franklin and Hampshire County. He coaches many of our Deerfield children, and is involved with PTA. He and his wife Sarah have a 10-year-old son, and have been living in Deerfield for 12 years. Trevor has attended many Selectboard, Finance Committee, Planning Board, and town meetings, where he has seen that we “want our local government to be responsible and accountable” (Trevor’s words).

In addition, Trevor McDaniel is against the NED pipeline. Although suspended for now, the pipeline might come back in other forms (TGP said it will “continue to pursue alternatives.”)

I am voting for a candidate who understands the dangers, the financial difficulties, and the environmental harm that residents and the Town would face if the pipeline rears its head again.

Trevor has stated that he wants to “lead Deerfield residents through some of the harder issues, and, great opportunities, facing our town.” Let’s give him our vote on May 2!
