Greenfield, April 11

7:11 p.m. — Report of an incident involving a runaway from the Key Starr Program on Park Street; a staff member is following her and informs that the female is now on Gerrett Street headed toward the hospital and the middle school; officer located the female, and she was transported back to the Starr program.

7:37 p.m. — Officer sent to the Key Starr program again, and assisted where the female was transported by Medcare per the supervisor at the program, and officer assisted at the hospital until a worker arrived.

7:44 p.m. — Carbon monoxide alarm sounding on Federal Street where the Fire Department responded and found three other CO alarms were received from the same location; fire department investigating and found the source was on the second floor; all units available.

Montague, April 11

10:08 a.m. — Reporting person form Lake Pleasant Road says he neighbor is burning trees on the edge of the road, adjacent to a wooded area on the reporting person’s property, and believes the burn is unsafe; Shelburne Control and an officer were advised and the officer checked the area and reported the burn appeared safe and no apparent issues; the officer remained in the area for a while in case the Montague Center Fire Department requested further assistance.

11:14 a.m. — Caller from Millers Falls Road requested an officer regarding an on going issue with his neighbor; the issue began several months ago at which time the neighbor made a comment about doing something to the reporting person’s dog; today the reporting person discovered dog treats in his yard and thinks his neighbor may have poisoned them and put them there so his dog would eat them and get sick; both people involved were advised of their options by the responding officer.

11:46 a.m. — Burglar alarm on Chestnut Hill Loop and showing a side door; owner was contacted and said no one should be there; officers checked and found a basement window open, but not big enough for a person to fit through, and said a small animal may have gotten in, setting off the alarm.

2:59 p.m. — Report of possible water main break on Millers Falls Road near the Partridge-Zschau Insurance agency; the reporting person is calling from Turners Falls Road and says while on his back porch, he could see a large amount of water pooled in the road on Millers Falls Road and more water appeared to be coming up at time passed; the Turners Falls Water Department and officers were advised; after an inspection the water department called requesting detail officers as soon as possible for about six hours to make repairs on Millers Falls Road; officer advised that road between Turners Falls Road and Edward avenue is closed to eastbound traffic; but west bound can continue through.

4:27 p.m. — Caller requests an officer on Randall Road where the caller says a female has been going through the tenants mailboxes, and she had been reported earlier; the reporting person stated that she had placed her Netflix DVDs in her mailbox to be returned today, but the female tore up the envelopes and placed parts of each into the other mailboxes; officer spoke with the reporting person and she will be filling out a statement form; no damage to the DVDs.

8:39 p.m. — Report from Kostanski Square area near the funeral home that a large branch is blocking the road at the top of the hill there; officer checked and the hazard was removed from the road.

Greenfield, April 12

1:49 a.m. — Report of erratic operation of a vehicle at Cumberland Farms on Federal Street where the vehicle just went through the drive-thru with people driving in the vehicle that appeared to be intoxicated; officers responded and investigation leads to arrest of Armando Carlos Leone, 33, of Silver Street, Greenfield, charged with operating under the influence of liquor, possession of a Class B drug, to wit, and second charge of operating under the influence of liquor, with reading of 0.08 of greater; also arrested was Maria Lynn Hague, 24, of Church Street, Greenfield, violation of abuse prevention order.

2:25 a.m. — Report of a threat at Domino’s Pizza on Federal Street where the reporting person states he was threatened by a fellow employee while at work here; officer spoke with the reporting person who was concerned about an employee not washing hands; a confrontation ensued; officer discussed options with the reporting person.

Montague, April 12

1:24 a.m. — General disturbance reported on Fourth Street where the caller says there are three or four males outside her building, and are speaking loudly, “using foul language,” and disturbing her peace; officers checked the area, but no disturbance located.

Montague April 13

12:05 p.m. — ACO spoke with the chief and the reporting person also contacted Montague Police, and advised dispatch regarding a named person who was threatening the staff at the kennel this morning; the female threatened to blow up the kennel if her dog wasn’t released to her; the reporting person was advised the officers will conduct extra patrols in the area and the chief requested this be logged at this time.

3:28 p.m. — Vandalism reported on G Street where the caller reports she discovered someone had shot at her bedroom window with a BB gun; she also stated that there have been several incidents over the past year that she hadn’t reported, including finding a gun under one of the car door handles, finding grass and dirt clumps on her car, finding a neighborhood kid bouncing a soccer ball off of her car, and finding the car covered in silly string; officer spoke with her and she filled out a statement form and was advised to call in the future if anything else happens.

5:24 p.m. — Fraud situation reported from Fifth Street where the caller says that while applying for housing, she was alerted by Powertown Apartments that she has an account with Time Warner Cable, in her name, that has an outstanding balance of $1,000; the caller stated this is fraudulent, and she will request Time Warner to fax any pertinent paperwork; the reporting person then advised she spoke to Time Warner who will be faxing the information they have to Montague Police.

5:47 p.m. — Reporting person from Canal Street reports a group of kids on bikes just passed his location and were screaming obscenities at him; the reporting person believes it may be the same people who broke several windows this morning at the Swift River Hydro Electric plant; one was wearing a bright pink shirt and another was wearing a gray sweatshirt; officer spoke with the reporting person and he was advised of his options. Officer later located the two youths involved and they stated they were on the bike path and were screaming at each other, not directed to the reporting person; the information was to be relayed to the reporting person if he calls again.

9:22 p.m. — Caller from the F. L. Roberts station on Third Street says there is a female known to them from past shoplifting incident and is now outside bothering customers and asking them to purchase alcohol for them; officer spoke to the woman and she was moved along.

11:29 p.m. — Shoplifting reported at the F.L. Robert’s station/store on Third Street where the reporting person says a male just shoplifted candy bars, soda, and chips and said the male has left the store wearing a dark green hoodies with a basketball player silhouette on the sweatshirt and has a piercing between his lips and chin; officer stopped a person on Avenue A but found not to be the suspect; they were unable to identify the person from the camera at the store and will be checking the area.

Greenfield, April 14

2:24 a.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Oak Courts where investigation leads to arrest of two people involved with drugs; arrested was Dimitri Tamar Johnson 24, of Federal Street Greenfield, charged with possession of a Class B drug, to wit, possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and violation of drug free school or park zone; also arrested was Damien D. Johnson, 27, of Federal Street Greenfield, charged with operating a motor vehicle after his or her license or right to operate a motor vehicle had been revoked by reason of his or her having been found to be an habitual traffic offender, subsequent offense, using a motor vehicle without authority, possession of a Class B drug, subsequent offense, distributing Class B drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and violation of drug free school or park zone.

10:16 a.m. — Disturbance reported at the Victory House on Conway Street where the reporting person says they have an aggressive 18-year-old throwing chairs and punching walls; officers responded, assisted the staff, and the youth calmed down.

11:03 a.m. — Accident at School and Pleasant streets, but no injuries reported; two vehicles involved, one citation issued; report filed.

12:28 p.m. — Traffic stop on Interstate 91 where an officer stopped a vehicle, and found four females transporting drugs; arrested was Crystal A. Hill, 42, of Stanley Street, Greenfield, charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, being present where heroin is kept, and conspiracy to violate drug laws; also arrested was Jennifer M. Chan, 30, of L Street, Turners Falls, possession of a Class A drug, with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and being present where heroin is kept, and arrested was Jody L. Cole, 51, of Fourth Street, Turners Falls, charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and being present where heroin is kept; and also arrested was Andrea R. Tuttle, 43, of Willow Street Greenfield, charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and being present where heroin is kept.

3:06 p.m. — Larceny reported on Main Street where the caller reports theft of her tools from this location; officer took the report.

4:13 p.m. — Disturbance on Linden Avenue where a female is reported to be outside of this location at this time and has been making threats via Facebook saying she was going to harm a known person; officers made contact with the person mentioned and she was moved along.
