I read with interest John Bos’ article in The Recorder, March 24, titled, “It can happen here.” I was a radio operator on a B-17 and became a prisoner of the Germans during World War II.
I, too, have sensed the parallels of the rhetoric then and now. Your article brought all of the disturbing elements of our current situation together with my recollections.
