I really wanted to address William Gran and his failure to answer how long it takes a solar panel to offset the CO2 it took to make it, etc (may I have this dance?) and how those who have Global warming agendas cherry pick data far more than “deniers,” but I’d rather hit the First Amendment and how it applies (or doesn’t) to Trump.
Recently a number of acts of civil disobedience have disrupted Trump rallies. While everyone has a right to an opinion, one must also tread lightly on the rights of others. Standing by the side of a roadway protesting gets the message across; blocking a roadway abrogates the rights of others. Rushing the stage to take his microphone away? Parading around a rally in a KKK hood giving the Hitler salute is tasteless, but who was more wrong: the nut wearing the hood, or the black guy attending the rally reaching out to hit him? Actions have consequences.
I don’t like Bernie Sanders, but I don’t parade around his rally dressed like Karl Marx waving the Communist Manifesto. I do write letters and comment on Internet forums.
I don’t think Trump would be a good president, and didn’t vote for him in the primary, but the more I see he is irritating the ultra-left, the more I like him. The problem is, they resort to violence if they don’t get their way.
I think my final vote will come down to whom he and Hillary pick for VP.
Choose wisely.
(PS: wanna bet it’s Christie for VP, and Carson for surgeon general?)
