I am an Integrative Healing Arts practitioner and often work with people severely impacted by traumatic events. I am asking the editor and the entire staff of The Recorder to simply stop printing photos of fatal tragedies. It does not serve humanity, and instead, re-traumatizes the family members involved upon viewing. It might be useful to stop and ask yourselves, How would I feel if this photo was of my loved one’s death? “May all beings be free from suffering …”
