It is with the deepest gratitude that The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division thanks all those in the Greenfield area who contributed to the 2024 Red Kettle Campaign. Your donations and volunteer support helped to meet the increased requests for assistance within your community during the holidays and will continue to help throughout the year.

Despite the shorter holiday season, The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division raised just under $2 million through its annual Red Kettle fundraising campaign. These critical funds will help families and those in need across the commonwealth with food, clothing, housing assistance, gifts and more.

While fewer people volunteered at Red Kettles this year, those who rang volunteered for more hours compared to last year. That speaks volumes to the extraordinary generosity and spirit found across Massachusetts, which has improved the lives of so many of our neighbors in need. However, many families are still struggling. As the cost of living continues to rise, Massachusetts residents face the growing threat of poverty and the inability to provide for themselves and their families.

The Salvation Army of Massachusetts’ programming, funded by generous donors like you, is a critical resource to provide rent and utility assistance, food and shelter. The Salvation Army is committed to meeting those needs in 2025. Each of our 28 Corps Community Centers and 220 Service Unit Extensions across the state strive to aid as many people as possible, with compassion and without discrimination.
