Hosting Mahar, the Eagles took a 28-8 lead at the half and didn’t look back, rolling to a 48-14 victory in Turners Falls.

Franklin Tech (7-1, 4-1) can win the league title outright if Palmer beats Ware on Saturday, following Athol’s loss to Greenfield on Friday.

A Ware win over the Panthers would lead to Franklin Tech and Ware sharing the IL North title.

Tyler Yetter ran in a pair of touchdowns before Josiah Little closed out the scoring for the Eagles.

Mahar quarterback Morgan Softic took it himself for a 10-yard score in the second quarter before adding a second rushing touchdown in the second half for the Sens (2-6, 0-5).
