No other president in our history has placed his personal interests above national security. There’s a name for someone who does that. It’s called traitor. Trump has used that term to smear others who merely oppose him and do not compromise America. He conflates American interest with Trump personal interest in doing so. He talks about knowing how to handle traitors “in the good old days.” They handle traitors the same way today.
Trump never accepted the actual investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election in which every intelligence and law enforcement agency unanimously agreed that there was an attack on our democratic process by the state of Russia authorized by Putin. Why? Because his ego could not abide any suggestion that this interference may have been on his behalf. Once again, putting his personal interest above the national interest. Trump, the “genius,” held his own investigation. He asked Putin whether he did this. Putin said no and Trump said that he believed him. Case closed. Boris says, “thank you.”
He goes further. Aside from the fact that there doesn’t seem to be any evidence to implicate wrong doing by Joe Biden in Ukraine, Trump launches his own “investigation.” (Never mind the fact that his children openly do what he accuses Hunter Biden of doing on a much larger scale. Profiting from Daddy’s position) He puts his consigliere Guiliani on the case instead of the Justice Department and the FBI, who easily could have also worked with Ukranian officials to find the truth “if there was any there, there.” Why? Maybe because credible professionals like the FBI would not put the “horse’s head” in Ukraine’s bed. The horse’s head being withholding the military aid that Ukraine needs to prevent being invaded and annexed by Boris. Again, placing his personal interest ahead of our national security. Russian adventurism in Ukraine would seriously threaten world security, particularly that of Europe — our allies, whom he has done his best to abuse and turn against us, including undermining NATO. Boris says, “thank you, thank you.”
Trump abandons our Kurdish allies in the Middle East, once again causing anyone who might still think of the U.S. as an ally to seriously doubt our loyalty. He hands Syria over to the Russians — and the Iranians, which also results in freeing ISIS prisoners and endangering U.S. troops who were still in harm’s way. Once more he risks our national security while helping Putin. Boris says, “even I can’t believe this! What can I say? “Thanks, again.”
I won’t even get into the pervasive corruption of the Trump regime. Americans unfortunately are so cynical that many just expect corruption and believe that “they all do it.” Not on this scale. Like his idol Putin, he is of, by, and for the plutocrats of America whom he helps to continue to plunder our nation. His “syndicate” pays the Don who gets his beak wet one way or the other. Not even counting the direct graft that he, “Thanks Dad” Jr., and the rest of his crime family feed on. Like Boris, he ignores and degrades the rule of law until he can totally bring the legal system under his control — a work in process with his judicial appointees.
He is selling America down the river and needs to be stopped while we still can. He will decry the “socialist” democrats while working actively to promote Russian interests. He should be thrown out of office, precluded from ever holding office again, and undergo criminal investigation of his actions — and those of his Republican hatchet men and enablers. Then he should be punished, according to the law, for his crimes — and they are crimes. No Gerald Ford presidential pardon for this traitor and his cabal because “Boris is calling on the hot line. Something about the King of Diamonds.”
