HOLYOKE — The pretrial for the former acting police chief in Montague was rescheduled on Wednesday, Aug. 15, to Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the Holyoke District Court.
The court case for Christopher Bonnett was transferred from Franklin County District Court to Holyoke District Court to avoid any conflict of interest with the District Attorney’s office in Greenfield.
Bonnett was arraigned in Franklin County District Court on June 29 on a charge of assault and battery on a household member, after an alleged altercation with his girlfriend earlier that day.
