Greenfield, MA – Leslie Bergeron, 65 of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
He was predeceased by his parents Robert Bergeron, Louise and Norman Snow, brother Bill Bergeron and niece Tana Larsen.
He is survived by his Cat Sammy and siblings: Thomas Bergeron and wife Cathy, Gill, Rena Graves-Sorochty and husband Carl, East Palmetto, Florida, Linda Bergeron Larsen and Bob Bergeron, Greenfield, and Lisa Woodall, Turners Falls. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Jenifer Kruzlic, Jaimye Levine, Ty Larsen, Jason, Peter, Rob, and Kristina Bergeron, Brandon and Billy Woodall. Leslie’s extended family, Jake, Kristin, Alvin, Cyrus, Zayne, Tripp and Norah Maple Richardson, Shelburne Falls.
A proud graduate of Mohawk Trail Regional High School. Leslie spent his career working in various roles, including positions at South Deerfield Plastics, Shelburne Center Greenhouse. His colleagues remember him for his infectious sense of humor.
An avid fisherman and passionate New England sports enthusiast, he never missed an opportunity to toss a ball around or take his nephews fishing, creating countless cherished memories along the way. He was a familiar face at little league, basketball and hockey games, where he enthusiastically cheered on his nephews and nieces, celebrating their achievements as if they were his own.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date, as per his wishes.
