You are clearly not a “nobody.” Reaching out is really hard, and social media has made that even harder for younger people. The best part was that people responded to you! They reached back. They shared information that gave you the courage to make your concerns known at a public meeting. Wow, you’ve done the hardest thing, and it will only get easier. Heck, most people don’t have that kind of courage. Much easier (less risky) to air our grievances on social media platforms. But the most impressive aspect of your story is that even though it didn’t go your way, you understood that that was a possibility, and you did it anyway. Yeah!
