5:30 p.m. — Reporting party on Winthrop Street states her dog was attacked in her yard by a neighbor’s dog. Requesting an officer check the area to ensure the dog is not still roaming around and behaving aggressively. Unable to locate.

10:51 p.m. — Caller from Prospect Street states a male party has thrown items outside of her house and threatened her. Reporting party states the male party told her he would throw her through a wall. Caller advises she has it recorded. Wanted the incident on record. All calm at the location upon officer’s arrival.

Tuesday, March 17

1:30 a.m. — Caller reports hearing knocks on the door of a house they are watching on Central Street. Reporting party states she does not know who may be on the property, but she believes someone is there. Caller states the doors are locked. Officer advises the fence was not latched and wind was causing it to strike the house. Fence secured.

6:51 a.m. — Caller reports a tree fell on his truck on Hillside Road. Incident was on private property. Vehicle owner will need to report it to his insurance company.

8:17 a.m. — Report of a pickup truck that struck a Jersey barrier on North Leverett Road. Vehicle towed. Driver transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Report taken.

Thursday, March 19

12:08 p.m. — Walk-in to the station reports he lost his wallet two or three months ago and someone has been using his identity. No money was taken. Officer advised the reporting party of options and provided him with a statement form.

3:15 p.m. — Reporting party on Dell Street states that a younger male came up to her front door and took a picture, then left in a small black car that was really loud. Unable to locate.

4:24 p.m. — Report of a tractor-trailer unit blocking traffic, creating a hazard on Turners Falls Road and Industrial Boulevard. Truck has a broken axle. Officers were able to help get the vehicle off the road and out of the way. No longer a hazard.

6:03 p.m. — Reporting party from Dell Street called back to advise that two days ago, a red Volkswagen was parked outside her home and a younger guy got out and took a picture of his own license plate. He then reportedly put on a bright yellow vest and was taking pictures of other vehicles’ plates as he was walking down the street. When he saw a couple walking their dog, he headed back to his car and left. Reporting party took a photo of the Volkswagen’s license plate. Reporting party was advised to call again if the vehicle returns.

Friday, March 20

4:44 p.m. — Minor two-vehicle crash on North Leverett Road. No fluids, no injuries. Citation issued.

8:36 p.m. — Report of a male party being disruptive and threatening outside the Shea Theater Arts Center on Avenue A. Male party was moved along and given courtesy transportation back to Greenfield.

Saturday, March 21

8:18 a.m. — Reporting party states that vehicles on L Street near his home are being vandalized overnight. Vehicles are keyed. Caller believes his neighbor is the suspect due to an ongoing dispute over parking. Report taken.

10:47 a.m. — Security alarm sounding at the Colle Opera House on Avenue A. Employee on scene made a mistake on the keypad. No issues, false alarm.
