SHELBURNE FALLS — Emergency crews were called when a car went off an embankment on Smead Hill Road and fell about 30 to 40 feet.
No one was hurt.
The call came in around 2 p.m. Firefighters from both Greenfield and Shelburne Falls were called because it wasn’t immediately clear if the incident was in Shelburne or Greenfield.
Fire officials said no charges were filed, and warned of slippery roads.
