MONTAGUE — A 41-year-old man has died following a stabbing incident Friday evening on Randall Road in Montague, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. A second victim remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Elijah Michonski, 18, of Montague, is in custody and facing multiple charges, including murder, in connection with the incident. He is expected to be arraigned in Greenfield District Court, Monday morning.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, Michonski entered the home of two relatives, stabbed both multiple times, then stole their car to escape. He was arrested shortly afterward by police officers from Montague, Erving and Gill.

The names of the victims have not been released.

The incident remains under investigation by Montague police, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office and MSP Crime Scene Services.
