I am thrilled that many towns have utilized the Massachusetts Office on Disabilities, Americans with Disabilities Act grants, evaluated their properties for ADA access, etc.
But, now a second round of grants for ADA is available from the state. I encourage all the towns to review this grant information under MOD website, utilize this grant and continue to improve ADA. The total grant amount by MOD is $250,000.
Applying for these grants is a huge and not to be lost opportunity.
