GREENFIELD — China Gourmet on the Mohawk Trail was broken into by an unknown person some time Thursday night or Friday morning, according to Greenfield police.
“They broke the glass on the main door, they took some cash,” Greenfield Police Lt. William Gordon said. “Detectives are still investigating it at this time.”
Gordon declined to say how much cash was stolen, but said the alleged crime occurred between approximately 10 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.
The manager of the restaurant, located at 78 Mohawk Trail, was unavailable for comment Friday afternoon.
