The American West is in a 1,000 year drought. It’s not going to see any rain in the near or distant future. A Native American tribe known as “Cliff Dwellers,” became extinct 1,000 years ago due to drought in the Southwest. U.S. Global warming is evaporating most, and soon all, water in the West, especially the Southwest. The frog is almost 100% boiled.
However, the U.S. can outfox nature with the construction of a pipeline from the Great Lakes to the Colorado River in the West, which feeds multiple users, farms and cities, and most of all, the Southwest. The Hoover Dam was built in the 1930s. It was so massive that many didn’t believe it possible. Well they did it and if they could do that 90 years ago we, America, can build a pipeline or two or three more to the Colorado. It could save the economy of the Southwest and possibly all the West.
