DEERFIELD — No one was seriously injured in a crash that damaged a utility pole and brought down power lines in South Deerfield Thursday night, according to Deerfield police.

Both occupants of the truck that struck the pole around 8:30 p.m. were evaluated by South County EMS, but refused transportation to the hospital.

The crash closed Conway Road near Whately Road and the on-ramp to Interstate 91 and near South Mill River and Sawmill Plain Road near Route 116 for much of the night.

Police remained on scene until Eversource removed power to the downed lines so the pole could be replaced.

About 115 customers lost power for about four hours, according to an Eversource spokeswoman.
