GREENFIELD — With its new storefront at 186 Main St., Antique Revival & Collectibles is bringing vintage items, art and collectibles together under one roof.

Previously known as Second Chance Treasures on Deerfield Street, owner and operator Ada Naser said she moved to the new location after her building sold. She said she’s had the shop on and off in different forms and names for about 18 years.

“The building sold and the new owner wanted to do upgrades to the building, so I met with the owner of this space and here I am,” Naser said, noting she was concerned her merchandise might interfere with successful completion of upgrades. “This location has the out-of-towners coming from Routes 5 and 10 as well as the foot traffic on Main Street.”

The store has been on Main Street since Dec. 19, and had its grand reopening celebration last weekend.

“I’m getting used to this new location, but people are nice,” Naser said. “I also have the ability to have artists’ work here, which I couldn’t do at the other location.”

In addition to items from 10 vendors and consigners, work from six artists is being sold at Antique Revival & Collectibles.

Vendors Gloria Arfer, Amanda Odato and Charlette Morin said they offer a unique selection of items.

Arfer said she has vintage, sometimes antique items as well as upcycled items that she’s made herself.

“As vendors, we try to bring something fresh every week,” Arfer said. “This is the first time I’ve had items here since she opened the store. I used to be a customer. I like it because Ada is Ada — she’s easy to work with and professional. I’ve sold other places and she’s really easy to work with.”

Similarly, Odato said she likes working with Naser and the Main Street location.

“I’ve been selling here since (Naser) opened in December,” she said. “I like the foot traffic here.”

Odato’s items include vintage kitchenware as well as collectibles.

Morin has been selling items with Naser for years and said she’s decreased her involvement gradually to retire. She offers items like vintage books and dolls.

“I like that people come to see and look through the windows at things we offer,” Morin said. “The store offers things for people who have a couple of bucks, to people looking for those hard-to-find antiques or collectibles.”

The hours are noon to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays, but Naser is considering expanding the store’s hours to include Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
