Golf tournament: The Greenfield Knights of Columbus, Council #133 is having its 5th annual charity golf tournament Friday at Crumpin-Fox golf course in Bernardston. The event will be an 18-hole, four-person scramble. The entry fee of $15 includes: greens fees, carts, lunch and dinner. There will be a silent auction and many raffles. The Caregiver Support Group was formed to support caregivers in the emotionally and physically taxing role of taking care of loved ones who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to take care of themselves. The Amputee Support Group has a goal of assisting amputees in their daily lives by offering them the opportunity to share ideas and support each other. Moving with Parkinson’s class takes place on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, at the Southwestern Community Services Conference Room at 63 Community Way in Keene, from 10:30 to 11:4 a.m. Moving with Parkinson’s is a class that helps to increase coordination, flexibility, and balance, but most of all it’s fun. Participants can take the class sitting or standing and will feel supported in a safe and comfortable environment. It is open to anyone with a movement disorder and their caregiver, partner, or friend.
