MONTAGUE — The actions of a quick-thinking neighbor thwarted a would-be burglar in the act of breaking into a Central Street home.
The neighbor saw a man climbing into a window of her neighbors’ home Wednesday, and called 911 right away,according to Montague Police.
Several Montague Police Officers responded and searched the home. The subject was found hiding inside the home holding onto several of the residents’ personal possessions.
On Thursday morning, police confirmed that the suspected burglar had been arrested, but did not release the suspect’s name, saying the incident remains under investigation.”
No other information was available.
