I was pleased to see your recent editorial — “Grass roots campaign tackles green in elections” that ran on April 4 — on the upsurge in political activity in the Pioneer Valley around getting money out of politics.
On May 8, Conway town meeting will vote on a similar resolution, and I am optimistic about its passage. These resolutions are non-binding and are truly non-partisan in nature. When passed, they can strengthen the hand of legislators working at the state and national levels on legislation to end corruption.
