The Celebration of Life for Earl McGraw will take place on Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Mullins Center on the campus of UMass.
Anyone who would like to talk or share a story about McGraw will have the opportunity to do so, and the event will end when all have had a chance to speak. People are allowed to bring dessert-type foods only. All drinks will have to be purchased from the vendors in the Mullins Center.
Dress is casual. The McGraw family will be wearing jeans and long-sleeved T-shirts.

Frontier wraps up title
Teddy Cyr finished with 64 rushing yards, 28 receiving yards and two touchdowns to lead Frontier to a 22-14 win over Quabbin in the Suburban League Peewee Division regular-season finale Sunday at Frontier Regional School in South Deerfield.
Frontier finished the season 6-1-1 and won the AFC East title.
CJ Hannum finished with 65 rushing yards and also hit Cyr with a 28-yard touchdown pass in the win. He also ran in a two-point conversion. Lawson Landmark added 25 rushing yards and a two-point conversion.
Kaden James had a big day defensively with nine tackles and a fumble recovery, and Harry LaFlamme finished with 10 tackles. Jacob Rice made seven tackles, while Hannum and Delaney Fifield each made four tackles. Cyr, Garrett Dredge and Zack Haskell each had a pair of tackles, while Ryan Payeur, Julian Rodriguez and Landmark finished with one tackle apiece.
Senior Bulldogs fall
Josh Semaski threw a 65-yard touchdown pass to Elijah LaMagdelaine and also scored the two-point conversion but the Franklin County Bulldogs suffered a 36-8 loss to South Hadley in a Suburban League Senior Division football game Sunday in South Hadley.
Jason Daye made seven tackles and recovered a fumble to lead the Bulldogs’ defense, and Brianna Snyder had six tackles and a sack. John Semaski and Ryan Duclos combined to force a fumble.
Greenfield Touch results
Billy Cruz caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Viset Keo and added an interception return for another touchdown to lead Platform Titans to a 20-0 win over Johnson Controls in a Greenfield Men’s Touch Football League game Sunday.
The win moved the Titans into fourth place in the league. Keo also hit league rookie Jalen Sanders with a touchdown pass, and Eric Hernandez added an extra point.
James Miller and JoJo Ratcliffe each played well on both sides of the ball for Johnson.
• In other action, Ryan Keilty hit Liam Healy with a 11-yard touchdown pass and Chris Hart made a circus catch to haul in the extra point as Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley Ballhawks edged Rocketfusion.com, 7-0.
The Hawks moved into fifth place with the win. Girard Davis, Jeremy Benz and Pat Boyle all played well defensively for the Hawks. Sean Boyle, Corey Madore and CJ Peterson played well in the loss.
• Finally, Jesse Phelps hit Zach Butynski, Adam Wroblewski and Andy Wroblewski with one touchdown apiece and Sirum Autobody defeated Travel Kuz, 19-6.
Andy Wroblewski also added an extra point for Sirum’s, which moved into sole possession of second place with the victory. Sirum defensive linemen Aaron Bassett, Alex Pirozhkov and Chuck St. Hilaire each applied pressure throughout the game in the win.
Bryan Adamski rushed for a 7-yard touchdown in the loss, that briefly tied the score early in the second quarter. Ben McDonough, Justin Fox and Abe Klein each had strong games for Kaz.
FCFC tryouts
The Franklin County Football Club will conduct tryouts for its Under-16 and Under-18 boys’ soccer teams on Nov. 12 and 13 on the turf field at Deerfield Academy.
Tryouts will run from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. each day.
FCFC teams play in the Massachusetts Youth Premier League, and games take place on Sunday afternoons during April and May. Training sessions will take place at Deerfield Academy on several Sundays throughout the winter, and on two evenings per week during the season.

Mites win big
Chase Zraunig scored seven times on Saturday and the Franklin County Hockey Association Mite Green team defeated Brattleboro, 18-3, in a Greater Springfield League Mite game.
Luca Siano had four goals and three assists in the win, and Carter Schloat finished with three goals and one assist. Shawn Bauman collected two goals and an assist, and Hayden Ardrey and Jahleel Perry each scored once. Cordellia Rhoades played well defensively in front of Jack Laurie, who stopped nine shots to earn the win.
Turners hockey meeting
There will be a mandatory meeting for Turners Falls hockey parents and players on Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Turners Falls High School cafeteria.
Senior Public Hockey
Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield will be offering Senior Public Hockey for players 50 and over on Tuesday mornings from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Senior Public Hockey will begin on Nov. 1 and costs $10 per player.

Bohonowicz Fun Run
A Fun Run/Walk in memory of Janice Bohonowicz will take place Oct. 30 at 8:30 a.m. at the Body Shoppe in Greenfield.
There is no pre-registration and entry is free for the event, which features a 5K run and 2-mile walk. Participants are invited to contribute to the Janice Bohonowicz fund c/o Friends of Greenfield Library, which will help purchase books for the children’s wing of the library.

Deerfield Academy suffered a 3-0 loss to Amherst Regional High School in a girls’ volleyball match on Monday.
