Noah Poreda of Frontier Regional has been named the Recorder’s Athlete of the Month for October. The junior running back piled up massive amounts of yardage for the Redhawks this month. But that’s not all, as he plays offense, defense and special teams for Frontier.

Poreda rushed for 734 yards in the month of October, along with 10 touchdowns. In a statistic that would make Adam Vinatieri proud, Poreda went 20-for-22 kicking extra points for the Redhawks. Frontier went 4-1 during the month with four blowout wins. Poreda added an interception playing strong safety on defense.

Frontier ranks No. 19 in the latest Division 8 power rankings. Poreda needs just 50 yards to eclipse 1,000 yards for the season.
