No Kings 4 is coming to Franklin County on Oct. 17, the first day of early voting in Massachusetts.

Franklin County Continuing the Political Revolution is organizing a No Kings action in every town in Franklin County on Oct. 17, with a focus on voter registration and early voting. We want to make sure that as many people as possible are registered to vote, and we are encouraging early voting to make sure your ballot gets in and is counted. Early voting in Massachusetts runs from Oct. 17 to Oct. 30.

There will be a rally on the Common in Greenfield from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a voter registration table, where you can check to make sure you are registered and/or complete your registration. Town Hall will be open for voting until three, so if you are already registered, you can walk across the Common to vote.

Bring signs to the rally communicating why you are voting and why it’s important to vote early. For some, it may be personal. Others may be voting because of a particular issue, and for others the reason may be the ballot questions. Whatever your reason, come with a sign, come with energy and good spirit, and join us on the Common for No Kings 4.

FCCPR will share the information we have about gatherings in other towns on our website, fccpr.us, including the names of contact people who can provide information about what is planned for each location. If you know of something happening in your town, please send that information to info@fccpr.us so we can post it on our site.

Every vote matters, and we are doing everything we can to make sure that your vote counts this November. Come join us on Saturday, Oct. 17, on the Greenfield Common — or wherever you are — to engage in democracy. It’s time to get loud and strong together!
