Addie Harrintgon of the Frontier Regional field hockey team has been named the Recorder’s Athlete of the Month for September.
Frontier had an unblemished record in September. One of the reasons is the clutch scoring of Harrington against some of the best teams in western Mass. In a road win against East Longmeadow, Harrington, a senior, scored the lone goal of the game in Frontier’s victory over the Spartans. In a win over Minnechaug, Harrington once again scored the only goal of the game for the Redhawks.
Harrington led Frontier in points, with six goals and three assists in the month of September.
Each month, the Recorder’s sports team recognizes one athlete for outstanding play, leadership and contributions to their team.
