7:37 a.m. — Report of vandalism on Norwood Street. Right rear window of a truck broken, nothing missing. Services rendered.
11:20 a.m. — Report of vandalism at the Greenfield Skate Park on Chapman Street. Party has a piece of rebar that someone allegedly used to damage the solar panels. Damage to the solar panels has been there since last summer. No new damage.
1:25 p.m. — Walk-in to the station reporting she breeds cats and someone has not paid her for two. Party was advised that this is a civil matter to handle through the courts.
4:36 p.m. — Caller at Green River Park on Petty Plain Road states he found a pistol in the woods right off the trail. Reporting party initially grabbed it, then put it back. Will wait for police. Airsoft revolver retrieved.
9:49 p.m. — Reporting party states he was threatened over a parking spot on High Street and would like the incident documented in case anyone damages his car.
11:21 p.m. — Reporting party states her bicycle was stolen from Chapman Street sometime between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. States it was locked up and had a cover on it. Older Beachcomber-style bike, light blue with black lettering and a basket attached to the back.
Tuesday, Aug. 25
11:30 a.m. — Report of malicious destruction to property on Holly Avenue. Tire slashed. Officer requesting extra checks in the area.
12:53 p.m. — Shoplifting reported at Dollar General on Federal Street. Male party attempted to leave the store with approximately $100 worth of products in a cart. Same was returned without incident.
3:40 p.m. — Man screaming in the area of the train bridge on River Street. Party stated he was yelling about women running the country. Male party was advised that if he does not want to be moved along, he should tone down the yelling.
8:27 p.m. — Report of a female party screaming expletives, possibly in the Energy Park area. Ongoing for 15 to 20 minutes. Female party was venting, upset over Clinical & Support Options and housing. Services rendered.
Wednesday, Aug. 26
8:58 a.m. — Caller from Wells Street reports their landlord threw away some of their belongings. Reporting party states he left a folding chair outside near his apartment door for a few days and management threw it away. Reporting party talked to management about it and he is upset they won’t refund him $30. Party was advised this is a civil matter.
8:33 p.m. — Report of a crash with injuries on the Mohawk Trail. Not as reported, party was operating his e-bike while intoxicated and fell off the sidewalk, resulting in a cut on his head.
9:37 p.m. — Multiple vehicles doing doughnuts in the Greenfield High School parking lot on Barr Avenue. Involved party advised it was not him doing doughnuts, and that it was a BMW and a Honda Civic. While speaking with the involved male, the officer was able to see a BMW leave the school. Operator was advised to make smart decisions.
Thursday, Aug. 27
11:49 a.m. — Caller from the Weldon House on High Street reports three people fighting. Nothing physical, verbal altercation between residents. Everyone separated.
3:55 p.m. — Reporting party from the Weldon House on High Street states his neighbor continuously has music on to disturb him. Caller is concerned the noise will get worse throughout the night because she’s doing it on purpose. Reporting party is looking to have the issues documented in case noise becomes bothersome later in the night.
6:41 p.m. — Reporting party from Haywood Street states a dog has been barking for two hours straight and this is highly unusual. No cars in the driveway. Nobody home, neighbor showed up to walk dogs.
7:17 p.m. — Reporting party states they just went to Golden Nozzle Car Wash on Newton Street and no employees are around, wants it checked out. Advised by employee they were using the bathroom.
11:42 p.m. — Disturbance reported on Congress Street. Female party was yelling and screaming outside her house and assaulted a neighbor with a chair. Rachel Leonilda Loso, 35, of Congress Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a person 60-plus/disabled, trespassing, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person 60-plus, and disorderly conduct.
Friday, Aug. 28
2:43 a.m. — Caller from Davis Street states there is a man downstairs banging on the window and standing on vehicles. Verbal argument over a woman. Male party was moved along.
3:43 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on Deerfield Street. Melissa L. Loseman, 49, of Deerfield Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
6:36 p.m. — Report of a vehicle operating erratically on Colrain Road. Blue Chevrolet truck was reportedly doing doughnuts around the Greenfield Community College rotary, speeding excessively and passing multiple vehicles. Checked the area, gone on arrival.
6:55 p.m. — Crash with injuries reported at West and Conway streets. Juvenile stated he was trying to imitate Tony Hawk on a mountain bike and flipped over. He was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Saturday, Aug. 29
5:35 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on Davis Street. William Kevin Bettencourt, 39, of Davis Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
8:22 p.m. — Traffic stop at Main and Wells streets. Keith Leonard Glover, 49, of Dorchester, was arrested on a warrant.
Sunday, Aug. 30
10:36 a.m. — Report of a parking problem at Green River Park on Petty Plain Road. Football game going on and everyone is parked on both sides of the road. Emergency vehicle can’t make it to the lower parking lot. Ongoing issue.
12:43 p.m. — Report of unwanted individuals at Oak Courts. Reporting party requesting assistance removing two people after they were allowed to stay in the apartment for two days. One party with a warrant. Ashley Blanchard, 33, of Conway Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
