9:43 a.m. — FirstLight Hydro Generating Co. is requesting the police go to various properties of theirs to get rid of the tents and homeless people living there. Officer attempted to make contact with individuals who have tents between Maple Street and the river downtown on First Street. Negative contact.
11:33 p.m. — Reporting party on Avenue A states the neighbor’s music is too loud, would like officers to respond. Neighbor was advised to keep the music down.
Tuesday, Aug. 25
3:44 p.m. — Caller on East Main Street states someone stole her Amazon package that was delivered to the building she resides in. Reporting party advises she knocked on the apartment doors in the building inquiring if someone had taken it. Spoke to the property manager requesting camera footage. Manager advised she does not have access to cameras and provided information for who to contact. Contact made, party will look at the footage on Monday. In the meantime, police advised contacting the United States Postal Service to let them know about the missing package.
4:15 p.m. — Report of three individuals actively fighting on Keith Street. Caller believes this happened due to a parking issue in the driveway. No weapons believed to be involved. Reporting party stated there was someone on top of another male party punching him. Officers advised. Peace restored.
4:32 p.m. — Caller from Burnham Street states there is a vehicle in their lot with a Texas plate and possibly a dog inside. Requesting an officer to attempt to locate the owner and check on the dog. Reporting party was advised officers were tied up on another call, but would check when available. Officer found no vehicle in the lot with a Texas plate.
10:07 p.m. — Caller reports trash in the roadway on Turners Falls Road and what appeared to be glass bottles, possibly broken. Reporting party is concerned the glass may puncture tires. Officer advises he was able to move the majority of the trash from the roadway. Department of Public Works was contacted, advised to check the location as there is a couple hundred bottles that need to be picked up.
Wednesday, Aug. 26
1:09 p.m. — Water Department supervisor reports a tree company doing work in the area of Greenfield Road knocked over a fire hydrant and he would like to know which company is working in the area. Tree company is working on a solution with the Water Department.
7:03 p.m. — Ludlow Police Department requesting officers attempt to locate a male party believed to be at work on Industrial Boulevard at this time. Involved individual’s vehicle is in the parking lot. Male party was located and placed under arrest.
Thursday, Aug. 27
6:29 a.m. — Reporting party states he woke up to a dust storm on Davis Road because the construction crew was blowing dust and debris in through his windows. Caller states his windows are pitted and he is going to file an insurance claim. Also states that five officers were there and didn’t do anything. While on the phone with the reporting party, an officer radioed to say he was aware of the situation and had told him to call and report it.
8:52 a.m. — Caller from Turners Falls High School on Turnpike Road reports an ongoing issue with a female party in a blue Mercedes driving erratically. She was allegedly speeding around buses and almost ran the principal over. Officer spoke with the female party and advised her of the complaint. She stated she would not be slandered and will be contacting the school regarding the matter.
2:15 p.m. — Caller has concerns about the camper in Peskeompskut Park on Avenue A. It has been there for a while and she does not know what the occupants are using for bathroom facilities. The Board of Health was previously made aware of the situation.
3:06 p.m. — Report of a cat that fell in the water drain at Davis Street and Turners Falls Road. Animal control officer notified. Animal control officer advising the cat was gone on arrival. Spoke to the postman who was in the area and stated the cat does this often. Cat goes down the drain and comes out the other side. No issues seen.
8:06 p.m. — Katrina Ann Fisher-Crowley, 40, of Avenue A in Turners Falls, was arrested on Avenue A on a warrant.
Friday, Aug. 28
12:03 a.m. — Reporting party from Franklin Street states her cat has been stuck in a tree for 48 hours, and tonight, two raccoons are closing in on it. Caller reports the cat is scared and she does not know what to do. Officer advised the reporting party of her options.
1:00 p.m. — Reporting party states he was backing out of his driveway on Fifth Street and hit a parked car. Minor damage to both vehicles. Officer will attempt to contact the owner of the other involved vehicle. Report taken.
Saturday, Aug. 29
1:45 a.m. — Reporting party states the people next door on Franklin Street are working on their house, using tools and causing a disturbance. Reporting party states he believes there is some intoxication involved. Multiple vehicles in the driveway. Parties are doing renovations. They will keep it down.
12:58 p.m. — 911 hang-up from Family Dollar on Avenue A. Reporting party called back in stating she is attempting to fire an employee and the employee is freaking out and screaming. Officers responding. Female party was moved along. Manager to seek out a civil order on Monday. Situation mediated.
Sunday, Aug. 30
12:34 a.m. — Reporting party on Stevens Street states her daughter is being cyberbullied and she would like a call back about what to do. Officer called the reporting party back, but the reporting party stated they had figured it out and the daughter blocked the other kids in the group chat.
12:42 p.m. — Reporting party states his leaf blower was stolen from his front yard on Park Street this morning between 10:40 a.m. and 10:54 a.m. Reporting party has surveillance camera footage, as does his neighbor. Reporting party was able to view his footage, but the neighbor is not home yet to view theirs. Officer advised.
