West Dover, VT – Roger Start Buzzell, 62, of West Dover, Vermont, passed away on September 19, 2026.
He was born on March 6, 1964, in Queens, New York, to David Start Buzzell and Marilyn Kay Boutilier. Roger worked as a project manager for Wright Builders and Western Builders before beginning his seasonal retirement career as a Snowcat Operator at Mount Snow.
Roger married the love of his life, Pam Buzzell, in 1988. Together, they shared 38 years of marriage filled with love, travel, skiing, and riding motorcycles. They traveled extensively together, creating countless memories and adventures along the way. A lifelong skier, Roger found great joy in the mountains and cherished the time spent enjoying the outdoors with Pam.
Roger will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Pam Buzzell; his daughters, Dr. Alexis Taylor Buzzell and Cierra Morgan Buzzell; his sisters, Marie B. Jarvis, Marilyn Buzzell, and Sharon Levenson; his cousins, James “Chip” and Sang Chapman; his mother-in-law, Theresa Pydych; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Pydych and Michael Pydych.
A private family burial will take place in the coming days. A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
